Sennheiser's E 908 is a cardioid condenser microphone for instruments, available in four versions. This version carries the name E 908 B-EW and is fit for the wireless amplification of your saxophone, via an Evolution wireless instrument transmitter. It can be optimally positioned and does not suffer from handling noise. Its lively, clear and open sound, makes the E 908 B-EW suitable for studio as well as live use.

E 908 B-EW: freedom of movement
With the Sennheiser E 908 you can go where you want to and your instrument will be amplified perfectly. The microphone is equipped with a solid clamp, so that it will stay in place, however wildly you may move around. The membrane itself can be optimally positioned via the long, flexible gooseneck.

Shockmount
Condenser microphones are very sensitive. In order to prevent unwanted contact noise from being picked up, they are usually delivered with a shockmount. The E 908 B-EW is no different, except for the fact that you won't be able to see its shockmount, as it is incorporated in the microphone. This piece of advanced technology has yielded a prize for Sennheiser, namely the TEC Award 2005 for "Outstanding Technical Achievement" in the category "Microphone Technology/Sound Reinforcement".
